Maui Kajukenbo

The Reyes Lineage holds a legendary status in the Kajukenbo world as they are the official librarians, secretaries, and historians for the entire Kajukenbo system.  They are known for passing down the Kajukenbo techniques and pinians in its purest, original form.

Grand Master Gary Forbach is a 9th Degree black belt of Grand Master Aleju Reyes, the founder of the Reyes line and student of Sijo Adriano Emperado.  

GM Forbach is also the instructor of Chuck Turner and Don Crummer (Sifu Kristin's Instructor) who also appears in the videos.  These names appear on the clover patch we wear on our jackets as a symbol of our lineage.

The techniques and pinians in these videos from 1986 were identical to the original techniques from the 40's.

You will notice that our techniques and pinians at Maui Kajukenbo are nearly identical to this day.
